SunCast is a powerful solar analysis that facilitates the performance of solar geometry studies on a building. It generates images of the suns impact on the building and enables you to clarify what is happening at any given time of the day or hour. This is performed as part of DTP and Daylight which takes into consideration the solar gain and predicts daylight in each area respectively.
This simulates the effects of
daylight and electric light into
building, with 3D images and
scientific data. It generates
detailed simulation from which
obtains data such as:
- i. Lux
- ii. Glare and daylight factor information
- iii. Design and test daylight
- iv. Make the building better and more energy efficient and sustainable
CFD is most frequently used in
a complex air flow heat transfer
and pressure process in and
around the building with great
visual results. Using CFD as well
as the MicroFlow, enables you
to address design issues such
as:
- i. Predict Occupants Comfort
- ii. Investigate Natural Ventilation & Mix Mode Ventilation
- iii. Optimize Supply/Return Grill Placement
- iv. Pedestrian Comfort & Safety
This is the most accurate thermal simulation which shows how the
building performs. It helps to identify and solve problems as they arise,
and has the ability to optimize the design. This model can be
incorporated throughout the whole building, or an explicit room or zone
with various results, such as:
- i. Room temperature
- ii. Humidity
- iii. Occupants comfort
- iv. Energy consumption
The above can be analyzed for each hour of the year which gives you the ability to optimize the model.
